Enova's solution
Enova's patented X-Wall ASIC family has been engineered to encrypt/decrypt the entire hard disk bit-by-bit including the Boot Sector, Operating System, Temp and Swap files. Encryption/decryption operations occur in real-time to ensure zero performance degradation and total transparency to the end user. Enova's encryption technology ensures multi-level privacy, confidentiality, authentication and authorization using industry standard proven algorithms such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) certified DES (Data Encryption Standard), TDES (Triple DES), and AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). Authentication and access to system data is controlled using the X-Wall Secure Key, PIN/Password, Fingerprint, Smartcard, TPM, or any two factors authentication scheme.
Enova's X-Wall technology is completely independent of, and compatible with, all Operating Systems and functions with all Ultra DMA (Ultra ATA) 66/100/133 and Serial ATA (SATA) compliant disk drives. Backwards-compatibility with older drive protocols ensures all users are able to benefit from Enova's solution. The performance optimized DES/TDES hardware core engine performs all encryption and decryption operations while offering unprecedented throughput of 1.6 Gbit/sec. As no software components or specialized device drivers are involved, processor cycle interrupts and memory overhead are completely eliminated.
Enova's solution is available in multiple form-factors. Systems with X-Wall add-on modules such as PCI cards, removable drives and external USB 2.0 devices are among user's choices. A PC on-board solution is recently introduced utilizing X-Wall MX family with pre-boot password authentication. This is to ensure simple authentication but still rock solid security protection to our customers.

President and CEO
Mr. Robert Wann
Mr. Wann founded Enova Technology in 2000. Previously he spent eleven years working in Silicon Valley where he held senior product and technical marketing management positions with C-Cube Microsystems and Blitz & Software, Inc. Mr. Wann holds multiple US and world-wide patents that are related to real-time full disk encryption technology and has been a pioneer of that segment. Mr. Wann received his MSEE from Pittsburg State University in Kansas and holds a BSEE from the National Taiwan Institute of Technology in Taiwan , Republic of China.

 

Vice President of Engineering
Dr. Chung-Yen Chiu
Dr. Chu is the Vice President of Engineering, and joined Enova Technology in 2002, bringing with him the skills and expertise pertaining to digital and analog design engineering. He previously held various senior design manager positions at Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Syntek Semiconductor in Taiwan . He has several US and world-wide patents pending, that are related to real-time full disk encryption technology. Dr. Chiu received both his Ph.D. and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California , Los Angeles , and his BSEE from National Tsing-Hwa University in Taiwan , Republic of China.

 

Vice President of Administration
Ms. Susan Chang
Ms Chang is co-founder of Enova Technology, as well as Vice President of Administration of the company. Prior to the founding of the company, she worked as a senior sales manager for one of Getz Bros. & Co. Inc.'s pharmaceutical divisions. She spent more than ten years as a local pacemaker distributor. Ms. Chang previously worked as a manager of administration for an electronic device manufacturer, bringing with her years of experience in sales, administration, and accounting. Ms. Chang received her MBA degree from Royal Roads University , BC , Canada and holds a BS in Administration from the China University of Technology, in Taiwan , Republic of China.
